Disaster Alert
The Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System provides near real-time alerts about natural disasters around the world and tools to facilitate response coordination, including media monitoring, map catalogues and Virtual On-Site Operations Coordination Centre. Events in this list are picked up from multiple sources and automatically analyzed by a computer program to determine the likelihood of humanitarian intervention. News, damage maps and humanitarian situation reports are collected automatically from over 1000 on-line sources.

1.A Disaster is located and public informs authorities[Police] or International Alert is received.
2.The Central disaster management Centre is notified .
3.All provincial/State/District/Local Disaster management centres are notified.
4.Govt.District Secretariates/Police/Army/Navy/Hospitals/Electricity/Fire Department/Media/Local Govt. Authorities/NGO Informed.
5.All the Disaster management Team members are informed/Vehicles sent.
6.Team Start Work at the site.-All equipements,vehicles,medical centre is ready.
7.Crowd Control is on.Portable Loudspeakers used.Some selected volunteer public are selected by the Team Leader.Entry to area limited.
8.Leader is in control of command centre coordination.
9. Media is infomed of situation and their support sought.
10.Victims are spotted and taken to hospital at the site./then to General Hospital.
11.Other People are taken away to safer areas.
12.Temporary shelters are set up.
13.Food,Water and other essentials are supplied.
